A second effort for TSoT

I'm not sure if it's allowed to submit a second card but this one is exclusively using the sketch so I'll see if it's accepted.


Not accepted!  Still, I enjoyed making the card.

Another challenge attempt

Well, I've got the bug.  This time I've made a card using 

• perfect plum, blushing bride and wild wasabi from the The Color Throwdown Challenge

• a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches

 

Here's my card.  I found it more difficult than I thought to get the green in to the card, but it's there!  The "sketch" brief requires a "clean" card.  I hope this fits the bill.  Now to the linking for the challenges.  I'm still a "newbie' at this and there seems to be a bit of variety in methods for linking to the challenges.

Yesterday's effort was successful

I managed to link my card to the Dynamic Duos challenge and even got a lovely comment about the card.  The teams from the challenges are very kind and very encouraging ...... so I've decided to try another entry while I'm on a roll.

This time I'm entering two challenges with the same card.  

Nacho Averages required the use of crushed curry, bermuda bay and strawberry slush (all great colours) and Try Stampin' On  Tuesday has a sketch.  I've never worked with a sketch before but I have been inspired by Sara Hoogendoorn whose cards I love.  She is on the team at Try Stampin' On Tuesday and kindly gave me the names of some other challenge sites.

OK, I'm very impressed that I could upload my photo so quickly today.  If I keep doing this for a while maybe I won't forget how it's done.

 Hooray!!  I've done it!

Trying again - after nearly a year.

I've decided to try to link a card again - this time to the Dynamic Duos challenge.  In anticipation, I am putting their image here.


It uses rich razzleberry and basic black with the option of some gold.

 Well, at least I've got it on this page!

I'll save this entry and see how I go.
